Reception and Customer Service Training (ARCS)

This 6 month is starting on Monday 29th January 2018! It is designed to provide the on-the-job skills and experience required to work as a receptionist/office administrator or in Customer Service. A commitment of 8 hours per week will be required, this includes 3.5 hours on the job, 3 hours class work and 2 hours of homework. Students will be given a training manual and asked to complete a series of relevant tasks. Please call Simone on 9531 1954 for more information.

Event Management 

This course is designed for staff and volunteers with an interest in gaining and developing the skills needed to manage various events. The course will combine classroom-based training and practical hands-on experience, working on a number of community projects. Teacher, Rachel Edward, has worked in Arts based Event Management for 15 years and the course will include: Event mission and vision, Fundraising and sponsorship, Working with a budget, Risk Management assessment, Operational planning and event permits, Food handling, Marketing and promotion, Time management, teamwork and dealing with conflict in the workplace, Communication skills, Community engagement and event evaluation.

Mon 12.30 – 3.30pm, $150 per term / *Free,  Tutor: Rachel BOOK NOW
