Exercise for all ages
Do you want to keep fit, improve wellbeing and build social connections? Then Exercise for All Ages is for you! The class is affordable for all incomes and accessible for participants of all ages and abilities. Our friendly instructor Marie will motivate you to build confidence, physical strength, balance, bone density and health benefits. If you have any injuries please let the instructor know. Locations: Sol Green Recreation Centre: Corner Coventry & Montague Streets, South Melbourne on Mondays. Port Melbourne Neighbourhood Centre (PMNC): corner Nott & Liardet St, Port Melbourne on Fridays.

Open Heart Meditation

Strength Balance for over 50’s

Tai Chi(Fan + 24 form)
Do you need to relax, clear your mind and improve your balance? Tai Chi exercise is for you! This class is for women and men who enjoy low impact exercise. Tai Chi is a gentle exercise that helps you to relax, activate the muscles and joints in the body, sharpens the mind and strengthens the body without stress. The class consists of warm-up exercise, meditation, Qigong, Yang Shi Tai Chi Fan -18 and the Beijing International Form – 24. Beginners always welcome *if you have any injuries please let your teacher know. Location: South Melbourne Community Centre.
Accessible Yoga (for disability/disadvantaged)
Accessible Yoga is a beginner class aimed for people with disabilities and older people. This class is aimed at being accessible to lower income members of the community. Yoga is suitable for those participants with chronic illness, disabilities and older people (participants can be seated). *A Centerlink concession card must be provided. Dharma Daws will lead you gently through simple stretches, breathing and relaxation. There are limited places of only 14. Participants Prepayment is required in advance to secure a place.
ARTS & Performance
City of Voices (Com.Theatre)
City of Voices welcomes adults of all ages and abilities. Learn performance skills and participate in quality theatrical performances. All you need is a desire to create and express yourself, confidence and willingness to work in a group. This year we are developing a range of exciting performances. * Transport for residents in Daylinks area only.
Drop in Art
Drop in and say hello, Play with art materials, Just give it a go. Your thoughts & ideas, Meet new people & have fun. No skills needed, materials supplied. *Participants of all ages and abilities are welcomed. Group Facilitator Liz Milsom sees art as a fun way to explore creativity, have fun and meet others in a social environment. She is passionate about creating opportunities for members of the community to engage in visual art, music and drama without requiring any artistic skills at all!
Vossanova Community Choir
Community Choir for people who sing for enjoyment. You will learn to sing in a variety of styles and develop skills in songwriting, harmonising, breathing techniques, confidence, projection and much more.
Provides an opportunity for participants to engage in a creative activity that includes storytelling, acting, improvisation and group-devised work.

Share & Care Entertainers
Share and Care Entertainers is a group who have weekly tap dancing classes with a professional teacher and also perform and entertain the community at events and functions. The class varies in all age groups and we welcome younger members. New members and beginners are welcome.
